Peter Jones joined Sternberg Reed in 2018 and works within the Business Development and Marketing team. He provides insight and BD best practice to Partners and lawyers alike. Whilst also handling the firms marketing, sales and networking needs. Working alongside senior management he facilitates the delivery of the firm’s strategic objectives. He ensures everyone understands the firm’s vision, providing the tools they need to deliver them and achieve firm wide goals.

Projects include working on the website to improve its SEO, managing the firms Social Media presence and improving the firm’s professional relationships with intermediary businesses and referrers.

Peter has extensive experience working in the legal profession and is a strong believer in ensuring that everyone receives the highest level of legal service, no matter what their circumstances.

Before he worked for legal firms, Peter cut his teeth within the service industry to help pay for his academic studies. He worked his way up the managerial ladder, gaining business and people management skills.

Peter Jones obtained his Bachelor of Laws and Criminology (LLB) degree with honours, from the University of Portsmouth. He then went on to study his Bar Professional Training Course at Cardiff University. He was called to the Bar of England and Wales at Lincoln’s Inn in 2008, and is an unregistered Barrister.

In his spare time, he sings in his local Church Choir and is learning how to sail. Recently He has become a father for the first time. Obviously this now takes up most of his spare time. He will never see the inside of a boat again for the next 18 years.
