Taiena joined Sternberg Reed in November 2016 as a graduate paralegal in the Medical Negligence department and is currently based in the firm’s Barking office. Taiena graduated from Kingston University with an LLB (Hons) Degree in 2015. Upon completing her degree Taiena embarked upon the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law and successfully completed this in June 2016.

Taiena assists the partners and solicitors within the Medical negligence department, explaining to clients all aspects of the Conditional Fee Agreement to aid clients understanding, obtaining After-the-event insurance policies, requesting and obtaining clients medical records and various other aspects to allow for progression of individual clients’ cases.

During her degree and prior to joining Sternberg Reed Taiena, volunteered at a legal advice clinic as a way of gaining knowledge in a variety of different areas of law such as Employment Law, Wills and Probate Law and Immigration Law.

Taiena has a natural inclination to stand for the rights of people and help those who are most vulnerable in society, demonstrated in her aim to qualify as a solicitor. Taiena has a friendly approach with clients and is able to respond to their queries.

In her spare time Taiena enjoys kickboxing for which she has over 8 years experience. Taiena also enjoys reading, socialising and  volunteering for charities.
