Kathryn is a Partner and Head of our Clinical Negligence department based in our Barking office. She has over ten years experience in all types of clinical negligence work, with a particular specialisation in children injured at birth. Kathryn is also very experienced in representing families at inquest.

Many of the birth injury cases that Kathryn deals with are complex, due to the needs of the children involved arising from the injuries they have suffered. These cases settle for several millions of pounds and Kathryn is very experienced in gathering together the necessary evidence and putting together a case of this type.

Kathryn also has experience in all other types of clinical negligence work, including cancer, misdiagnoses, delay in diagnosis, claims against nursing homes, cosmetic surgery cases and cases involving amputations. Kathryn ensures that her clients are looked after from the start of their case through to its conclusion and afterwards if necessary, and is experienced in securing compensation not only for the pain and suffering that her clients have experienced but also to assist them in all other areas of their lives which have been affected, such as if they have suffered a loss of earnings due to an inability to continue working, if their property needs to be adapted or if they need any ongoing care.

Kathryn is an accredited member of the APIL (Association of Personal Injury Lawyers) Clinical Negligence Panel and a member of AvMA (Action against Medical Accidents).
