Frances is Head of our Specialist Family Mediation department. She has been a solicitor with the firm for over 16 years and a partner for over 7 years. Frances is a qualified Family Mediator with experience of all areas of family mediation including financial disputes, children matters and all issue mediations (which include both finances and children).

She has a caring, professional style and is both known and respected for her ability to engage clients in the process and has a “firm but fair approach” to the mediation process.  She is committed to making mediation work in every case

Frances conducts both sole and co-mediations depending on the type of issues in dispute and has a high success rate in achieving agreements between clients.

Frances trained with the Family Mediators Association and is a Family Mediation Council approved mediator and a member of both the FMA and Resolution.  She is also a general member of the Law Society Family Mediation Accreditation Scheme.

Frances has worked on a wide range of family mediation cases including cases involving removal of children from the UK; insolvency cases; high value assets and cases where there has been a history of domestic violence and injunctions.  She has successfully mediated cases referred by the courts including cases where numerous court hearings have failed to resolve issues in dispute.

Away from the office Frances enjoys active pursuits such as skiing, swimming and rowing.
