Elizabeth Bendall is a Partner and joint head of our Family & Child Department. She was admitted as a solicitor in 1977 and joined Sternberg Reed in 1998.

Elizabeth is highly sought after as an advocate in all child care matters. Elizabeth has been active in promoting the child’s right to contact and involvement of both parents during the child’s life. Elizabeth regularly acts for both parents and children and has a keen interest in adoption, including international adoptions. She has been a key advisor on the Adoption Panel for a Local Authority.

Clients recommend her for her passionate approach. She gives her all to fight for the rights of her clients. She is able to react quickly in cases involving child abduction to ensure children are recovered before they leave the country.

Elizabeth is a member of the Law Society Children Panel as a Children Representative.  She is a specialist in Children Law and a member of the Association of Lawyers for Children. Elizabeth also undertakes some work in the field of Adult Social Services and Private Family Law.

Away from work Elizabeth enjoys going to the theatre.
