Wills & Probate Fees

Probate

  1. Grant of probate – if the clients provide all the information and estate is below the IHT threshold or no IHT Accounts is required £800 plus VAT (Inc. VAT £960)
  2. Grant of Probate if we are to obtain date of death information and valuations (for four accounts or less and property (if any) and no IHT account is required) – £950 plus VAT (Inc. £1140)
  3. Grant of Probate where IHT Accounts is required (£1,200 plus VAT) –
  4. Full Administration – Hourly rates £150 – £200 plus VAT (we can provide an estimate of likely cost of the administration based on the information supplied to us at the start of the administration).

Lasting Powers of Attorney

  1. One LPA – £400 plus VAT (Inc. VAT £480) + Registration fee of £82
  2. Two LPAs – £700 plus VAT (Inc. VAT £840) + Registration fee of £164
  3. Four LPAs – £1300 plus VAT (Inc. VAT £1,560) + Registration fee of £328
  4. General Power of Attorney – £150 plus VAT (Inc. VAT £180)

Trusts

  1. PROPERTY Trust Deed – £300 plus VAT (Inc. VAT £360) + Disb.
  2. Severance of Joint Tenancy – £150 plus VAT (Inc. VAT £180)
  3. Settlement Trusts – Onshore – from £800 plus VAT (Inc. VAT £960) + Disb.
  4. Settlement Trusts – Offshore – Obtain a quote after initial meeting/instruction hourly rate (£200 plus VAT) applies.

Deputyship

  1. One deputyship application (if there are no complications) – £950 plus VAT (Inc. £1140) + Disb (court fee £400 if no exemption applies, GP fee to complete COP3 and Deputyship bond insurance premium depending on the assets of the client). 

Wills

  1. Single Will – £200 plus VAT (Inc. VAT £240) as from 1st January 2018.
  2. Mirror Wills – £300 plus VAT (Inc. VAT £360) as from 1st January 2018
  3. Complex Will or Will Trusts from:
  •  Single – £250 plus VAT (Inc. VAT £300)
  •  Double – £450 plus VAT (Inc. VAT £540)

Package deals (as from 1st January 2018) 

(excluding disbursements and registration fees)

  1. One Will and one LPA £540 plus VAT (Inc.VAT £648)
  2. One Will and two LPAs £810 plus VAT (Inc. VAT £972)
  3. Two Wills and two LPAs £900 plus VAT (Inc. VAT £1,080)
  4. Two Wills and four LPAs £1,280 plus VAT (Inc. VAT £1,536)
  5. 1.5% fixed charge to administer estates worth in excess of £400,000

Codicil – £120 plus VAT (£144 incl. VAT)
